Hardscaping
We love plants, but plants alone will not provide you with the ultimate landscape. Allow us to create amazing things in your landscape using hardscape elements that will stand the test of time.
Hardscaping is essentially the non-living portion of your yard. Hardscaping provides the function and structure of a landscape but with proper design and use of materials, it will also enhance the beauty and value of your landscape. Our talented team creates many different types and styles of hardscapes including custom patios, stairs, walkways, and pathways, retaining walls, edges, and borders, raised beds. We use the finest materials to produce high quality, long-lasting elements that complement the landscape and increase the enjoyment of your outdoor space.
Hardscapes are primarily composed of natural stone, fabricated stone, metal and/or wood. Each of these material types provides plenty of choices from a long range of characteristics. Let us pair our experience with your desire to select the best materials for you. Our familiarity with the variety and application of each material allows us to quickly recommend the proper styles and amounts to complement any existing landscape or dwelling.
Natural Stone
Natural Stone lends itself to being more spontaneous and earthy. A whole range of colors, textures, and forms are available to us when working with Natural Stone. Natural Stone also blends well into existing Landscapes.
Fabricated Blocks and Pavers
Man-made blocks and pavers are more linear and uniform. They offer cleaner and sometimes, more modern lines in a Landscape Design. They are available in more and more different patterns, colors, shapes and sizes which allow them to blend seamlessly into many Landscapes. They have color and texture as with Natural Stone but also maintain their linear strength throughout the years.
Metals
Metals, such as steel, aluminum, and copper also add a new dimension of color and texture to any Landscape. Metals can be incorporated structurally as with pathway edging or can be used as accent pieces to create a special or signature look. Whether contemporary or earthy, metals work for a wide range of applications and styles.
