In 2014, the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals (WALP) and the Washington State Nursery & Landscape Association (WSNLA) joined forces to create this spectacular display. The creative forces behind this magnificent display garden were Robert Boyker (one of our owners, representing WALP) and Kirsten Lints (Owner of Gardens ALIVE Design, representing WSNLA).

With the help of over 100 volunteers, including Mark the Pond Guy and MOD Studio, this Gold-Medal garden nearly swept the awards, taking home the Best in Show award, the People’s Choice award, the Best Use of Color award, the Pacific Horticulture Magazine award, the 425 Magazine award, and the inaugural X-Factor award, given to the garden that best represents new trends in landscape design.
